I dont think you can control someone/some machine/robot reading the blog when you allow the public to read your blog, unless you make for "selective readers only" blog.

Spies and stalkers are everywhere. I think some of the "followers" are just spies, and they dont follow any posts! LOL

@varun

I don't care about stalkers or spies..
My only problem is because of them, my blog shouldn't have any shutdown problem.
I wasn't sure why I received this message from Google. If they suspect that someone is constantly stalking my blogpost and planting
Viruses on their system then they might down my blog page which I am not sure is possibility.

One time I linked a "hit counter" form a third-party, which tells you how many people are reading the blog now, in my blog. That one brought a spyware with that. People were complaining that your blog takes us to some "hoop-up" site. Even I had the problem. It took a while for me to figure that out. Finally I got rid of the "hit counter" everything solved. Whenever you link a third party hit-counter or anything like that in your blog, these kind of trouble comes. I dont have any idea my issue and your issue are related. For me once I got rid of that "hit counter" everything became normal

Thanks for the suggestion, I got rid of the hit counter. I will get rid of the revolver map as well. And lets see whether it solves the problem

good suggestion. The one question I have is, the hit counter or the map component is a plug-in suggested or in built within blogspot ? I mean to ask who regulate or certify these plug-ins ?

Actually, both were external codes that I embedded in the blog as a JavaScript.. So I got rid of them now..

Let's see whether it reduces the stalling..

But now I don't know who is visiting from where :(

Any suggestions on good revolver map is appreciated..

Lessons learned: Let us be more careful while integrating 3rd party plugins in our portal.

Regarding the map: I usually glance at the "Audience" map available in "Stats" section. But, it's not as fancy as you expect.

I thought http://feedjit.com/ is sort of genuine site to get the "widjets" (I am not 100 % sure :-)) if you wish to know live traffic and where the visitors are from. Lots of people use this one, I think. :-)

Thanks Varun for the suggestion

I think I received the same message from blogger sometime ago. I did not take it seriously because I am not using adsense or trying to make any money using blogger. I am just wasting my time in blogger. May be I could make some money if I dont spend/waste time in blogger. :)

I think people those who use blogger to make money using adsense and all should worry about this. When we are not receiving a check from google, we would not be punished badly for our "ignorance". Again, it is all my theory.

I believe, it is a kind of statement from blogger to cover themselves and it is for people those who make money using blogger using various third party ads and cookies.

Please check this out frequently asked questions..

Anyway, the bottom-line is, we better be careful when we add a widjet from a third party. They may be making money using that. If there is NO serious money involved, you will not be punished for some silly mistakes like this. Even if they shut down your blog, they will certainly help you how to bring back your blog and what needs to be done I think.

I have never heard of anyone's blog was shut down by google. I have only heard of our own people hacking someone's blog because of jealousy or whatsoever. One time unmaithamizhan, sarvanan's blog was hacked by one of our own tamils. Then he somehow brought it back with the help of google.

However your worry is genuine because we would not know what we had until we lose it. It is hard to establish a "blogger status" we have today though it seems like nothing. It is also hard to reproduce whatever we have written over the years. Because feeling come and go, opinions change, today's thoughts wont come tomorrow and so it is impossible to bring back whatever we have scribbled

I think google wont take any serious action unless you abuse it and make lots of money. If money is involved yes you need to be careful. If you are not making any money, they can not get you easily.

@Varun

Thanks for the comment and explanations. As you said, I have been writing since 2010 and some of my earlier posts if I read them again I feel happy and sometime silly. While I reread my posts, I feel like some of my posts were instant reactions to my surroundings and when I reread them now I feel silly about myself. And I am not sure whether I could have reacted the same way I was, when I wrote those posts.

Further, Although its tough to build a blogger status, I am not really worried about my blogger status or how I will be valued by others, instead I feel that the posts are my own children and losing them will be a great loss.
